A/Prof Richard Ferch is an Australian-trained Adult and Paediatric Neurosurgeon. He completed a Cerebrovascular Fellow at Verona City Hospital, Italy in 2000 followed by a Spinal Fellow at the Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford UK in 2003 and has extensive surgical expertise in both adult and Paediatric surgery.

A/Prof Ferch also has a strong research focus and has published many articles in peer-reviewed journals and given talks at many international conferences.

A/Prof Ferch grew up in Sydney NSW attending high school there before completing a number of degrees at different universities in Australia. He had training appointments at Royal North Shore Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital, Christchurch Hospital in New Zealand and John Hunter Hospital.

A/Prof Ferch is now appointed as a consultant Neurosurgeon at John Hunter and Lingard Private Hospitals.
