Dr Jaaback graduated from the University of Witwatersrand Medical School in 1992. He completed his Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2001. He then completed his Oncology training through London, working both in Bristol and Bath, receiving his Fellowship in Gynaecologic Cancer Surgery in the United Kingdom in 2005. In 2007 he arrived in Australia and was granted the FRANZ CGO Certificate of Gynaecologic Oncology in 2008.

Dr Jaaback manages complex benign conditions as well as risk-reducing surgery for patients with a strong family history or for those who carry a genetic defect. He manages all premalignant gynaecologic conditions and gynaecologic malignancies (ovarian, primary peritoneal, fallopian tube, uterine, cervical, vulval and vaginal).


His goal is to deliver the highest quality medical and surgical care, while focusing on optimising quality of life and ensuring each patient’s journey through the often frightening process, is as efficient and stress free as possible. Dr Jaaback's focus is on minimally invasive techniques wherever possible to reduce pain, immobility and hasten recovery. He will preserve fertility wherever possible and will consider all options for treatment without compromising cancer outcomes.
