Dr Monique Parkin is a fellowship trained Otolaryngology - Head and Neck surgeon who provides exceptional care for both children and adults. She provides services in paediatric ENT, adult nasal and sinus conditions and sleep-related breathing disorders, including snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea. Dr Parkin also offers advanced expertise in functional rhinoplasty, focusing on function, whilst considering form.

Dr Parkin completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours at the University of Melbourne in 1997, followed by her medical degree at Flinders University in South Australia. She then relocated to Newcastle, where she has proudly made her home. Her ENT training was undertaken across the Hunter New England region, and further refined at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Westmead Children’s Hospital in Sydney. She was awarded her Fellowship in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2010. Her advanced rhinoplasty training included dedicated experience at Sydney Hospital, as well as time with several of Sydney’s leading rhinoplasty surgeons.

Dr Parkin operates at Lingard Private, Hunter Valley Private, and Maitland Private Hospitals, where she enjoys collaborating as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team. She is also committed to the ongoing education of medical and allied health professionals, contributing to the growth of ENT care across the region.
