Leadership Team

Karen has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, having spent over 25 years in a range of management roles including Health Information Management, Quality, and Commercial Management. Karen also held the positions of Chief Executive Officer of Lingard Private Hospital, Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Healthe Care, Executive Manager for Northern NSW, New Zealand, Health Information and Quality and most recently Head of Commercial Operations. She is particularly passionate about Commercial and Strategic Management, Quality Program Development, and Corporate and Clinical Governance, and has overseen many service developments and building projects within healthcare facilities. Karen has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Human Resource Management) and is currently completing a Master of Business Administration.

Nicole has extensive experience within the Perioperative nursing speciality. Working within the operating theatre complex for over 20 years commencing as a New Graduate nurse completing a Perioperative Program. Nicole has spent the last 10 years in theatre management in busy private hospital settings. Nicole has completed her Masters of Clinical Nursing – Clinical Leadership and also holds a Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing. Although her passion is the scrub / scout role, Nicole has also worked in the role of anaesthetic and recovery nurse and has sterilisation process experience. Nicole has experience working in almost all surgical specialities prior to moving into a management role.

Taking on the role of Perioperative Services Manager in early 2023 focusing on bringing the two sites together and streamlining processes. Providing the best care whilst improving the journey of the surgical patient, whether day surgery procedure or major surgery, this is the goal the perioperative team strive for each day. Nicole is supported by her Perioperative Leadership Team to ensure the 16 operating rooms to provide the highest level of patient care and excellent surgical outcomes.
