Attention Patients and Visitors - Restrictions due to COVID-19.
Mandatory screening remains in place for ALL PERSONS prior to being granted entry to the premises. We thank you for your cooperation.
The World Health Organisation declared COVID-19 a pandemic, meaning the virus is established on all continents (with the exception of Antarctica). We are asking for your understanding that you consider not visiting the hospital unless you are an immediate family member or carer of the patient. The ongoing requirement for physical (social) distancing means that we will continue to limit the number of visitors to our facilities.
10am to 1pm (rest period 1pm to 3pm)
3pm to 8pm
Rehabilitation visiting hours:
3pm to 8pm, Monday- Friday (if you wish to visit outside these hours please contact the Nursing Unit Manager)
10am to 1pm or 3pm to 8pm, Saturday - Sunday
Patients may have up to two (2) adult visitors and two (2) child visitors at any time.
Attempt to keep a distance of 1.5 meters between you and other people where possible.
Screening prior to entry will continue as mandated by NSW Health.
No patients or visitors who reside or visited hotspots will be admitted or allowed on site.
Admission to the site remains subject to QR code access or manual recording of details.
The following people MUST NOT visit the hospital:
Anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 (unless no longer directed to be self-isolated)
Anyone subject to self-quarantine or pending a COVID-19 swab result
Anyone who has been in a hotspot or overseas in the past 14 days
Anyone who has had contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case in the past 14 days
Anyone with a temperature >37.5 degrees or symptoms of respiratory infection (cough, sore throat, runny nose, fatigue, shortness of breath)
If you are unwell and require urgent medical attention you should contact your GP or call 000 for an ambulance (this will work even without phone credit).
Practice physical (social) distancing by:
Attempting to keep a distance of 1.5 meters between you and other people where possible. If you are required to move closer than 1.5 meters, ensure that the time does not exceed 15 minutes.
Avoid shaking hands, hugging or touching other people or sharing food.
If you are wearing a face mask, after putting it on to cover your nose and mouth, do not touch the front of the mask and remove it using the ear loops or head straps - WHO Guidelines on How to Use a Mask.
Upon entry to the hospital and during your visit, please practice simple hygiene by making sure to clean your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds using alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
