Our Facilities

The hospital’s state-of-the-art operating theatres are specifically equipped for Orthopaedic procedures. Our surgeons have access to a full range of Orthopaedic instruments used for investigative procedures and arthroscopic surgery.

The latest innovative technology and minimal invasive surgical techniques are used at Lingard Private Hospital. Our surgeons use a combination of Computer navigation, patient specific instrumentation, 3D modeling, custom implants and imaging along with traditional instrumentation to optimize patient outcomes and increase recovery.

We recently introduced the $1.7 million MAKO Robot, the first of its kind in Newcastle, enabling our surgeons to provide a wider range of options for patients undergoing both partial and total knee and hip replacement surgery.

Our Orthopaedic Ward is staffed by experienced, qualified nurses who are supported by a multi-disciplinary Allied Health team including physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and occupational therapists.
