Dr Hamze completed his Orthopaedic Specialist Training in the Hunter Programme with the following three subspecialty Fellowships at Gosford Private Hospital (Lower Limb Robotic Arthroplasty and Reconstruction), Liverpool Hospital (Orthopaedic Trauma) and John Hunter Hospital (Orthopaedic and General Trauma Surgery).

Ali has chosen to return to the Hunter with his young family to commence practice. He is passionate about patients regaining their livelihood, their mobility and their sense of self again. He aims to provide comprehensive assessments, advanced surgical management techniques, clear and concise education and individualised rehabilitation plans.

The possibility of undergoing surgery can be daunting and is often a vulnerable time for patients and their families. Ali is extremely personable, caring and thorough in every aspect through the entire illness trajectory, from the moment he meets the patient, through their surgery and the follow-up.
