Dr Patrick Lim is an Orthopaedic spine surgeon. He has multiple areas of interest in spine including both adult and paediatric deformity surgery, especially scoliosis, minimally invasive degenerative spine surgery and robotic spine surgery. He is trained in all regions of the spine, including the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine with techniques to access the spine from multiple approaches.

Dr Lim was born and raised in Newcastle, NSW he graduated from medical school at the University of Newcastle. He further went on to achieve a Master of Surgery at the University of Sydney and completed his orthopaedic surgical training through the Australian Orthopaedic Association.

Most recently Dr Lim graduated from multiple spine fellowships at the prestigious New York University Hospital in New York and at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney, gaining world-class experience in all aspects of spine surgery.

Dr Lim is a consultant surgeon at the John Hunter Hospital and at the Sydney Children's Hospital. In the private system, he operates at multiple hospitals in the area including, Lake Macquarie Private, Lingard Private and Newcastle Private Hospital. He sees patients in his office at The Orthopaedic Clinic in The Junction.
