Dr Sandeep Tewari [BSc, MBBS, MS (Ortho), FRACS, FAorthA] is a highly qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialisation in lower limb surgery and Paediatric Orthopaedics. He is Senior Staff Specialist at Hunter New England Local Health District with public appointment at John Hunter Hospital and John Hunter Children’s Hospital.

He is Conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of Newcastle.

He did his specialization in Orthopaedics in Newcastle and Fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedics at Sydney Children’s Hospital. He visited Ohio University Hospital for training in Ponseti technique for club foot. He did another visitation to Shriners Hospital for Children, Portland USA. He is heavily involved in the teaching of Orthopaedic trainees and Medical students. 

He is recently appointed to the Court of Examiners for Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Dr Tewari has private rooms at 214 Brunker Road, Adamstown with VMO appointments at Lingard Private Hospital and Maitland Private Hospital. 

Dr Tewari has special interest in hip and knee surgery including joint replacement and ACL reconstruction, foot & ankle surgery and trauma.
